Critical Incidence Policy
An Tóchar GAA club has collaborated to formulate a response plan to a critical incidence. The well being of all our club members is highly valued. Our GAA club has always played a pivotal role in supporting our community in a variety of tragic situations.
A critical incidence is defined as ;
“Any event that is outside the range of usual human experience. It is an event that causes an unusually intense stress reaction which has the emotional power to overwhelm an individual’s usual ability to cope.” (GPA/GAA Guidelines)
Rita Brady is our Health and Well Being officer. In the event of a critical incidence Rita is also the Lead Liaison person.
