The girls 4th match this season saw them travel to Barndarraig, we travelled with a large and impressive team and it was a lovely evening for all our supporters. Our girls played very well the first half with great work by the midfield girls sending the ball into the forwards with non stop scoring, the ball never getting past our midfield.
Lyla, Katie, Aimee, Aoife, Eve and Ruth Ireland working the ball great and sending it into Jessica, Sinead D. and Alannah.
Sinead B. and Kelly were as always solid in the backs with great support from Ruth N. Sophie, Ciara, Caitlyn and Lauren. Sorcha had an easy time in the goal first half but had to work hard in the second half playing in the backs. The second half saw our girls playing up the hill and struggled to keep the Barndarraig girls out. Lauren H. in goals this half, we managed to hang in there with great determination and won by 2 points.
Our Girls played great and its great to see them working well as a team and winning this match was very important for them.
