Gaeilge classes with Eileen Patterson are up and running on Tuesday nights 7.30pm, Aras an Tochar for anyone young or old.
U12 Girls
Congrats to the u12 girls who had a great win in the County B Shield final last Sat in extra time in Greystones. The ‘true grit’ of bainisteor Amie shone through the team in the second half when they came from behind to get a draw with super points from Aisling. 2 extra time goals from cousins Alannah and Aoife proved to be the winners.
‘What a Load of Bull’
Our Bull contest proved a great success with over €4500 raised. Thanks to Sorcha , Anne Marie and Maureen for their hard work and John and Jackie Kavanagh for use of their bull . Declan Kelly (Arklow) weighed the bull for free and thanks of course to our generous sponsors who donated €1500 worth of prizes. The draw was well supported by parents , players and our older members that we keep hitting up for a few bob. All 19 Bull prize winners are published on antochargaa.ie. Looking forward to seeing Pat Fogarty at his Pilates classes for the winter….

Mens Senior
Well done to David and Decky who saved our Senior status (and their jobs!!) for another year with a brilliant win over Stratford in the Keating Cup last Saturday.
Youth Club
We hope to commence a Youth Club with sporting activities on Fri Nov 1st 7.30pm to 9.0pm. This will cater initially for 1st,2nd & 3rd years. €2 admission. Details tbc.
Jubilee Team
The An Tóchar Intermediate Champions of 1988 will be honoured as the 25th Jubilee Team at the County Football Final on Sunday 13th of October.
The An Tóchar committee have organised a Jubilee Awards Night in Lynham’s of Laragh on Saturday 12th October to honour the Panel and Mentors. Tickets are available @ €20 and all are welcome to come and have an enjoyable night.
Mini Leagues
Our U-8 and U-10 mini-league is up and running and will be on up at the club every Friday night for the next few weeks. So if you want to see some of our future stars come along and have a look .
